Canadian Polish Millennium Fund
Fundusz Wieczysty Milenium Polski Chrzescijanskiej
The Canadian Polish Millennium Fund was created to commemorate the millennial anniversary of Christianity in Poland observed in 1966. Initiated at a General Convention of representatives of the Polish community in Canada in 1960, the Fund was created by Letters Patent issued in 1964.
The goal of the Fund is to promote the Polish culture in Canada and to preserve the Polish language. The objectives of the fund include aiding and encouraging education among people of Polish origin and descent, establishing scholarships and fellowships for students, financing the publication of scientific and literary works relating to Polish history and culture, supporting Polish schools, libraries, academic institutions, Polish Scouts and other Polish community youth organizations in Canada.

Inicjatywa powołania do życia Funduszu Wieczystego Milenium została przyjęta jako jeden z celów obchodów Milenium Polski Chrześcijańskiej na wielkim Zjeździe przedstawicieli społeczeństwa polskiego w Kanadzie w 1960 roku.
Celem Funduszu jest promowanie kultury polskiej w Kanadzie i zachowania języka naszych przodków. Cele obejmują wspieranie i zachęcanie do edukacji osób polskiego pochodzenia, udzielanie stypendiów dla studentów, finansowanie publikacji prac naukowych i literackich związanych z polską historią i kulturą, wspieranie polskich szkół, bibliotek, uczelni, ruchu harcerskiego i innych polskich organizacji młodzieżowych w Kanadzie.
Każdego roku kalendarzowego Fundusz Wieczysty Milenium przyznaje stypendia dla osób i organizacji, takich jak instytucje edukacyjne, instytucje kultury, organizacje społeczne i młodzieżowe i dla autorów opublikowanych książek, które dotyczą Polski lub spraw Polonijnych.
