Polish Festival in North Vancouver 2016

Celebrating Polish Culture on the North Shore

Fourth Annual Polish Cultural Festival organized by North Shore Polish Association Belweder was held on September 4th at Lynn Valley Village in North Vancouver.

Once again it proved to be a very popular and successful event among many visitors from the North Shore and beyond.  Local residents gathered in large numbers to enjoy exciting flavours of Polish food and to learn about Poland and its culture.

Festival offered live music, traditional Polish dancing, excellent Polish cuisine, crafts, cultural and art exhibits, children's activities including games and theatrical performances, and cultural souvenirs.

This year event was not only a celebration of Polish folk tradition but also a presentation of its contemporary culture.  Exhibition entitled Polska. Architecture, a photography based display, showcased Polish modern buildings in its uniqueness of forms.

Festival successfully reconnected members of the Polish community to its roots and connected visitors from the Greater Vancouver community to Poland and its people helping to establish new relationships and friendships.

Festival wouldn’t be possible without generous support from many sponsors, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your generous donations.

Thank you to all hardworking volunteers, our Festival was a huge success because of you.  Your time and talents are priceless.

Special thanks to all who came to celebrate our event on the North Shore!
