Commemoration Plaque to honor Polish Aviators for their role in Battle of England and WWII

 

Very touching commemoration ceremony took place on September 11, 2016 in Stalnley Park in Vancouver.

 

Polish Veteran's Association and  Royal Canadian Legion   by unveiling the rememberance plaque 

recognized the Polish pilots' contributions to the Battle of England and their very significant role  in the Warld War II. It is a very important moment for all Polish and  Polish Canadian Community.

 

The contribution and sacrifice were many and we want history to remember those young and brave fighters who believed that conquering the enemies in WWII will bring the independence of Poland.

 

Thank you for your sacrifice and brave hearts.
