Traditions of Harvest Festivals are very strong in Poland and also amongst Canadian Polish Community in Vancouver area. As in previous years, Polish Friendship Zgoda organized this event.  The main artistic program and opening ceremonies took place on September 13th. Honorary guests included  representatives of Consulate of RP in Vancouver with Consul General K. Olendzki, Canadian Polish Congress BC with President Iwona Swiatczak, and Millenium Fund Coordinator Andrew Dobrowolski with families, Father Slawomir Oblak from St. Casimir's Church, as well as many Polish Canadian organizations and members of our community. 

 

It was a pleasure as always to see the full of vigour Folk Group from Victoria 'White Eagle Band' ,  and opening dance  'Polonez' performed by grop existing in PT Zgoda.
