20th Anniversary of 'Under the Wings of Pegasus' cultural organization.

On Nov 5th the cultural organization 'Under the Wings of Pegasus' celebrated its 20th Anniversary. Among distinguished guests were Consul of the Republic of Poland , Mr. M. Trzcinski, Mayor of the City of Surrey Mrs. L. Hepner, President of Canadian Polish Congress BC Mrs. I. Swiatczak.

In the mail lobby guests had an opportunity to view the Exposition of Greater Vancouver Canadian-Polish Architects works curated by J. Botcher.

Diplomas and honorary plaque from CPC BC were presented to Mrs. K. Polubinska to commemorate the 20 years of service to Polish Canadian community in Lower Mainland and Vancouver areas.

The audience had a wonderful time watching the performance of Polish Theatre from Toronto with the play 'Bon Soir Monsieur Chopin'. Congratulations to artists for their creative play : Maria Nowotarska, Agata Pilitowska.

The play was followed by piano recital of Witold Wardziukiewicz who obtained his Master's degree from the Stanislaw Moniuszko Akademy of Music in Gdansk, Poland. The recital of Chopins' music was full of charm and audience really enjoyed the evening.
